        Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for properly preparing and packaging goods for transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Goods should be packaged in a manner reasonably appropriate for normal handling and transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The customer is responsible for ensuring that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Freight is adequately protected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Packages are properly secured.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Labels and shipping documentation are accurate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Pallets or other transportation equipment are suitable for the shipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Required documentation is provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Special handling requirements are disclosed before transportation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          USG Ship Center may refuse a shipment that is improperly packaged, unsafe, prohibited, inadequately documented, or otherwise unsuitable for transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          6. Prohibited and Restricted Shipments<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

          Customers must not tender goods that are illegal or prohibited from transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Certain goods may also be subject to special handling requirements, restrictions, documentation requirements, or carrier-specific rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            USG Ship Center and\/or the applicable carrier may refuse, hold, return, or otherwise handle a prohibited or improperly declared shipment as permitted or required by applicable law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            7. Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

            Customers must disclose hazardous materials, dangerous goods, regulated materials, or other items requiring special transportation procedures before tendering a shipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The customer is responsible for providing accurate descriptions, classifications, labels, documentation, and other information required for the shipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Failure to properly disclose regulated materials may result in additional charges, shipment delays, refusal of transportation, return of the shipment, or other action permitted by applicable law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            8. Pickup and Delivery<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

            Pickup and delivery dates or time windows provided by USG Ship Center or a carrier are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is reasonably accessible for the applicable transportation equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Inside delivery<\/li>\n\n\n\n

              • Re-delivery<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Detention<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                Such services may need to be requested in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  USG Ship Center does not guarantee that tracking information will be continuously available or updated in real time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    The final amount may differ from an initial estimate if shipment details or transportation requirements change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      15. Cancellations<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

                      Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Depending on the stage of the shipment and whether transportation or other services have already been arranged, cancellation charges may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Once a carrier has been dispatched or transportation has commenced, cancellation may not be possible without applicable charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                      Any cancellation policy presented during the booking process or contained in a shipment-specific agreement will control where applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prohibited and Restricted Shipments Customers must not tender goods that are illegal or prohibited from transportation. Certain goods may also be subject to special handling requirements, restrictions, documentation requirements, or carrier-specific rules. Failure to properly disclose regulated materials may result in additional charges, shipment delays, refusal of transportation, return of the shipment, or other action permitted by applicable law. 8. Pickup and Delivery Pickup and delivery dates or time windows provided by USG Ship Center or a carrier are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement.
